Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following arrests made and citations issued since Friday, June 5, 2020.
Arrests: On Sunday, June 7, 2020, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Carlos J. Rosado, age 31 of Clinton, IA. The traffic stop occurred on W. Lincolnway (U. S. Route 30) at Garden Plain Road, Morrison, IL, for a moving violation. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Rosado was charged and arrested for Improper Use of an Electronic Device, Driving While License Suspended, and Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol.) Rosado was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and then released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of August 20, 2020.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Richard D. Rausch, age 49 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Rausch with Failure to Appear-Possession of Methamphetamines. Rausch was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
