On Monday, June 1, 2020, the Morrison Police Department received a report of a burglary to the horse barns at the Whiteside County Central Agricultural Society (Fairgrounds), where an undisclosed amount of horse tack was stolen. The horse tack belonged to White Oaks Therapeutic Equestrian Center (WHOA.) As the result of an investigation conducted by the Morrison Police Department and Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from a volunteer of WHOA, the following arrests have been made.
June 4, 2020, Krista P. Godat, age 45 of Clinton, IA, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Class 3 Felony), Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor), Burglary (Class 2 Felony), and Theft (Class 3 Felony.) Godat was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
June 5, 2020, Jolene L. Decker, age 55 of Camanche, IA, was arrested and charged with Burglary (Class 2 Felony – 2 Counts) and Theft (Class 3 Felony.) Decker was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.
The Clinton Police Department and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation.
This investigation is ongoing, with additional charges possible.
