6-23-20 at 10:24 p.m. Slade C. Jacob, age 21 of LaSalle, IL, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 east of Morrison, IL. Jacob was cited for Speeding 66/55 MPH and Unlawful Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Passenger, Carly E. Hepner, age 20 also of LaSalle, was cited for Unlawful Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, too. Both were released on bond, with a mandatory court date in Morrison, IL. Morrison Police assisted on scene.
6-26-20 at 7:40 p.m. Chaunt’l L. Wilson, age 33 of Council Bluffs, IA, stopped for speeding on Interstate 88 at mile marker 44. Wilson was cited for Speeding 26 to 34 MPH over the Posted Speed Limit (102/70 MPH) and released on bond, with a mandatory court date in Morrison, IL.
6-26-20 at 8:26 p.m. Connor O. Price, age 21 of Chicago, IL, was stopped for speeding on Interstate 88 at mile marker 37. Price was cited for Speeding 26 to 34 MPH over the Posted Speed Limit (97/70 MPH) and released on bond, with a mandatory court date in Morrison, IL.
6-27-20 at 1:07 a.m. Terome M. Hamb, Jr., age 26 of Sterling, IL, was stopped in Rock Falls, IL, for an equipment violation and arrested on a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear-Driving While License Suspended. He was able to post the required bond and released, pending a future court date.
6-27-20 at 3:21 a.m. Alexandra M. Coats, age 22 of Morrison, IL, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 at Blue Goose Road, rural Sterling, IL. Coats was arrested for DUI and Speeding 70/55 MPH and released on bond after processing. Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
6-28-20 at 12:10 a.m. Darien C. Gisi, age 20 of Rock Island, IL, was stopped for speeding in Rock Falls. He was cited for Speeding 45/30 MPH, Unlawful Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Gisi was bonded on scene with a mandatory court date in Morrison, IL. Illinois State Police assisted on scene.
6-28-20 at 12:57 a.m. Tyler A. Ristau, age 27 of Sterling, IL, was stopped in Rock Falls, IL, for No Front Registration Plate. He was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and given a written warning for No Front Plate. Rock Falls Police assisted on scene.
6-28-20 at 1:22 a.m. Lauren A. Henson, age 20 of Deer Grove, IL, was stopped for speeding on IL Route 40 south of Rock Falls, IL. Henson was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released with a warning for the Speeding offense.
6-28-20 at 1:48 a.m. Isaac C. Martinez, age 20 of Sterling, IL, was stopped on Emerson Road west of Sterling for an equipment violation. Martinez was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and released with a warning for the equipment violation. Illinois State Police assisted on scene.
6/28/20 at 7:12 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to the area of Benson Road at Sand Road for an ATV rollover crash. Upon further investigation, an ATV driven by a 16-year-old male and another ATV driven by Tiara Voeltz, age 54 of Erie, IL, with an 11-year-old passenger were traveling eastbound in the ditch along Benson Road. The ATV driven by the male juvenile ran out of gas. In order to avoid a crash Tiara swerved, rolled the ATV, and inadvertently threw the male juvenile from the ATV, before the ATV landed on Tiara. The 11-year-old juvenile was transported to Mercy Medical Center for injuries.Tiara was airlifted to Iowa City Hospitals. Erie Police Department, Albany Fire Department, Albany EMS, Clinton Fire EMS, and MedForce Aeromedical Transport assisted on scene.
6-28-20 at 10:06 p.m. Phillip W. Lewis, age 32 of Rock Falls, IL, was stopped for speeding on U. S. Route 30 near Prophet Road. Lewis was cited for Speeding 26 to 34 MPH over the Posted Speed Limit (72/40 MPH) and released on bond, with a mandatory court date in Morrison, IL.
6/28/20 at 11:55 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Moline Road and Walnut Road. Upon further investigation, Nicholas S. Marley, age 20 of Rockford, IL, was arrested on an Illinois Department of Corrections Warrant for Violation of Probation-Armed Robbery. Marley was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he is being held in lieu of extradition.
