Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, June 29, 2018.
Arrests: On Monday, July 2, 2018, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Lynette S. Makl, age 47 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Rock Island County, charging Makl with Failure to Appear-Traffic Offense. Makl was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at approximately 1:51 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Jeffrey L. Adams, Jr., age 36 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Adams with Violation of an Order of Protection. Adams was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a Domestic Dispute at 638 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Dakota J. Workman, age 25 of Morrison, with Domestic Battery. Workman was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Portland Avenue and Markland Drive. Morrison Police then discovered a vehicle, driven by Steven R. Janssen, age 62 of Morrison, IL, on the property of Morrison Junior High School. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Janssen with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Janssen was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and then released, with a Notice to Appear for August 2, 2018.
