Whiteside County TRIAD is excited to announce two opportunities for the public to have documents shredded in a secure way. During the events, individuals will drive up, and TRIAD members will remove the items from the vehicle. So there will be no personal contact. - Monday, July 27, 2020, at Whiteside County Senior Center, 1207 W. 9th Street, Sterling, IL, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Friday, July 31, at Fulton Police Department, 415 11th Avenue, Fulton, IL, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
“Come rain or shine, all of us at Whiteside County TRIAD have worked hard to bring this opportunity to the public. We are focused on helping the Senior citizens….We know how valuable shredding documents in a safe and secure manner is. TRIAD began as a National initiative sponsored by the American Association of Retired Persons, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the National Sheriff’s Association. TRIADs have been developed in communities throughout Illinois and the Nation, to promote crime prevention for older citizens. Illinois TRIAD was one of the first organizations in the Nation to guide a statewide response to the critical issue of crime against Seniors.
