7-29-18 at 2:42 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to the report of a single-motor vehicle crash in rural Lyndon, IL. Deputies discovered a vehicle that was driven by Sienna N. Montiel, age 22 of Prophetstown, IL, was traveling westbound on Moline Road before traveling off the roadway and stricking a stop sign and utility pole. Upon further investigation, Montiel was arrested for Driving Too Fast for Conditions, No Valid Driver’s License, two counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Montiel was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where she was processed and held in lieu of bond. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Morrison Police Department, Prophetstown Police Department, Prophetstown EMS, and Rick’s Towing.
7-29-18 at 7:39 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies arrested Nathan G. Shipley, age 35 of Morrison, IL, for an active Whiteside County Warrant-Application to Increase Bond: Reckless Conduct Great Bodily Harm. Once in custody, Shipley was transported to the Whiteside County Jail and held in lieu of bond. The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Morrison Police Department.
