Combine a few hours of free custom car viewing and a free hearty lunch, during the second annual Kunes Country Auto Group of Morrison Car Show, on Saturday, July 29, 2017. The location is 627 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.
Cars will be displayed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with trophies awarded in four categories:
- Best of Show
- Best Engine
- Best Paint Job
- viewers’ Fan Favorite.
Exhibitors do not pay a fee to enter.
Classics, street rods, vintage models, and attractive painted vehicles are welcome to fill the car dealership lot.
General Manager and one of the judges Bill Bart noted, “We had 27 cars last year, and we are looking forward to more on our second year. We plan to do this every year.”
Lunch is available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. His wife makes shrimp, sausage, and rice jambalaya; another employee will offer chicken jambalaya. “Neither are too spicy,” Bart said. The lunch is at no charge.
