The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, July 28, 2023.
Arrests: On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at approximately 7:23 p.m., Morrison Police Department served a valid warrant in the 100 block W. Main Street. Matt McCole, age 41, from Morrison, IL, had a warrant for Failure to Appear/Threatening a Public Official. McCole was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Friday, August 4, 2023, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Officers received an aggravated battery complaint at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds. During the investigation it was discovered James Kmoch, age 57, from Champaign, IL, battered the victim during a verbal argument. Kmoch was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
