Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, July 13, 2018.
Arrests: On Monday, July 17, 2018, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Bradley V. Tregloan, age 67 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Tregloan with Failure to Pay/Appear-Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Tregloan was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Lee C. Benters, age 33 of Sterling, IL, in the area of E. South Street and S. Cherry Street, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Benters with Improper Lane Usage, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Benters was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and then released on a Notice to Appear.
