These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is resumed innocent until proven guilty.
On 6/30/18 at 11:41 a.m. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Erie EMS, and Prophetstown/Lyndon Fire Protection District and EMS, responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of IL Route 78 (Crosby Road) and Moline Road. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver of the motorcycle Tracy L. Bohm, age 54 of Manito, IL, disobeyed a stop sign at the intersection and drove into the path of an oncoming vehicle, driven by Brian A. Kuster, age 58 of Dixon, IL. Tracy and his passenger, Anita G. Bohm, age 50 of Manito, were transported to CGH by Erie EMS, before being airlifted to OSF St. Anthony in Rockford. Erie EMS, Prophetstown/Lyndon Fire and EMS, and Rick’s Towing all assisted on scene.
On 6-20-18 at 11:45 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Sterling, IL, for one headlight. Upon further investigation, Sean M. Miller, age 27 of Sterling, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Miller was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.
On 6-25-18 at 7:01 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies investigated an illegally parked semi in rural Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Benson Rukundo, age 29 of Logan, UT, was arrested for Improper Parking Right Handed Curb as well as Driving While License Suspended/CDL Disqualified. Benson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.
On 6-25-18 at 8:38 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to an illegal burn complaint in rural Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Emilio J. Napoles, age 43 of Sterling, was arrested for Violation of Open Burn Act. Napoles was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.
On 6-26-18 at 12:09 p.m. following a crash investigation which occurred on June 17, 2018, Whiteside County Deputies arrested Gage R. Sheley, age 19 of Sterling, IL, for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash. Sheley was processed at the Whiteside County Jail where he was released with a Notice to Appear.
