Judy Paisley, age 79, of Morrison, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison, IL, surrounded by her family.
Judy was born in Michigan on January 5, 1938. She moved to Illinois in 1954 after marrying J .C. Gantenbein. During that union, they had a daughter, Sue Ann. Judy remarried in 1975 to Charles W. Paisley. He was her true soul mate, and they had a son, Jonathan.
Survivors are her daughter, Sue Ann Gantenbein-Gahlot and her husband, Deepak, of Chattanooga, TN; her son, Jonathan Paisley and his wife, Darci, of Morrison; her sister, Lucille West of Grand Rapids, MI; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Paisley is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, “Charlie”; two brothers, Bill and Robert; parents, William and Lena Smith; her grandparents.
A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1601 16th Avenue, Fulton, IL.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home, with Chaplain Don Johnston officiating.
A memorial has been established to Beacon of Hope Hospice.
