Judy Messina, 67, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, in Morrison.
Judy was born June 18, 1953, in Minneapolis, MN, to Fred J. and Mary Daly (Murray) Wolfe. She was a graduate of Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove Village, IL. Judy married Peter R. Messina on June 25, 1983, in Northlake, IL. He died September 28, 2016. Judy was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and collecting dolls. She was extremely creative and enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and quilting.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Messina of Morrison and Chris (Mika) Messina of Hanover Park, IL; sister, Daly (Robert) Curatti of Elk Grove Village; brothers, Michael Francis Wolfe of Port St. Lucie, FL; Gary William (Sheila) Wolfe of Texarkana, AR; Patrick (Ruth) Wolfe of Wayzata, MN; Terrance James (Jane) Wolfe of Stuart, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Peter.
A private family graveside Service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL, with Ken Renkes officiating.
There will be no Visitation.
The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established to Vitas Hospice.
