Joyce A. Lilly, 71 of Fulton, IL, died Monday December 23, 2019, at Mercy One Medical center in Clinton, IA.
Joyce was born on September 15, 1948, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Ikey and Mary (Frank) Engelkens. She married Frank Ernest Lilly on December 31, 1984, in Fulton. Joyce had been employed as a chain cutter at Drive’s in Fulton for 25 years before retiring. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan and Dale Earnhardt fan. Joyce liked to follow stock car racing. She loved working on home improvement projects and wood working, and was very artistic.
Survivors include her husband, Ernie; children, Donald Curtis (Ginger) Emerson of Fulton, Edward John Grant of Clinton, IA, Brock David Grant of Fulton, Scott Alan (Lisa) Grant of Charlotte, IA, Keri Lynn (Gary) Kramer of Clinton, Joe (Kim) Grant of Fulton, Dale (Julie) Lilly of Clinton, Gina (Clint) Morse of Lyndon, IL, Keith (Wendy) Lilly of Morrison, IL, and Pam Lilly (Wes Shaw) of Sterling, IL; mother, Mary Engelkens of Fulton; sister, Marlene Johnson of Fulton; brothers, Don (Karen) Engelkens, Paul (Kathy) Engelkens, and Robert (Sue) Engelkens all of Fulton; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home, in Fulton, IL.
The funeral will follow at 4:00 p.m., with Reverend Jim Jensen officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
