Jonelle M. Hook, 65, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, March 8, 2025, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA, surrounded by her family.
Jonelle was born March 13, 1959, in Morrison, to Harvey P. and Arnie M. (Adkins) Tegeler. She attended rural Whiteside County grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School in 1977. She later earned a degree from Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. On September 15, 1979, she married her high school sweetheart, Kevin D. Hook in Morrison. Throughout her career, Jonelle was employed at Neilsen’s Clearing House in Clinton, IA, before working at Agri-King in Fulton, IL, where she remained until her retirement in 2020. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church. Jonelle cherished time spent with her family and friends, especially shopping with them and attending her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events, and family vacations.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin; two daughters, Jackie (Dustin) Damhoff of Morrison, and Jenna (Arian) Landheer of Lyndon, IL; son, Jason (Amanda) Hook of Morrison; eight grandchildren, Sophie, Kaleb, and Ellie Damhoff, Aubrey and Weston Landheer, and Addison, Charlotte, and Lucy Hook; brothers, Harvey “Bud” (Connie) Tegeler and Tim (Lisa) Tegeler both of Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Becky Tegeler.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, IL, with Ken Renkes officiating.
