Perhaps the City of Morrison Rec Program Table Tennis League is for you.
On Monday, January 21, 2013, these men were captured enjoying singles and doubles table tennis play, at Southside Grade School, 100 Academic Drive, Morrison, IL. Spanning the gymnasium from left-to-right are Mike LaCoursiere, Tim Vanzuiden, Justin Litwiller, Martin Kurasz, Jim Coyle, and Dave Kirk.
Contact person Jim Fisher stated about 15 people are registered through the City of Morrison Rec Program. However, newcomers are welcome to sign up and play for the next nine weeks. The fee is $15, payable to City of Morrison. He can register people next Monday, January 28, if they arive a bit early. Contact him at 815-772-7668.
The evenings begin with an hour of clinic time and scheduled matches for fifth graders, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Fifth graders are asked to bring their own small paddle, preferably with a smooth rubber coating.
At 6:30 anyone in grade six through adulthood teams up for singles and then doubles play.
