“There are only a few openings left,” stated Don “Pood” King, referencing the annual, 18-hole golf tournament named after him. The Pood King 10th Annual Unionville Open will begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Cross Creek Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road, Morrison, IL. Before that, course owner Dixie Vegter will take in-person or telephone registrations at 815-772-7966, but time is of the essence to celebrate Pood’s birthday golf outing.
“Everyone is invited to join us for a day of golf and a lot of fun….Get your foursome together for the most fun you’ve had this year!” King stated.
Cross Creek members pay $15 for 18 holes, lunch, and the opportunity to win great prizes and surprises. If you need a cart, the fee is $25. The nonmember fee is $35.
