Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, is hosting a fundraising event for one of their long-term nurses, who is currently battling breast cancer. MCH Marketing Director Mick Welding urged, “Come raise support for Breast Cancer Awareness and join Jean Decker in her battle!” All silent auction monies raised will offset her medical expenses.
Baskets are on display from Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13, 2015. Community members are invited to this fundraiser. They are filled with wonderful items donated by local businesses. Purchase tickets in the main office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Bidders can win baskets with lower-value items, by purchasing tickets as low as $1 for one ticket, or five for $5.
- Baskets with higher-value items will require a $5 ticket. Increase your odds of winning by purchasing five tickets for $20.
Winning tickets will be drawn at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 13. Winners do not have to be present to win.
A bake sale will be held on Friday, March 13, as well. Shop for cinnamon rolls, cookies, pies, breads, and cakes.
