John D. Brodrecht, 74, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at Pleasant View Nursing & Rehabilitation, in Morrison.
John was born April 18, 1947, in Galena, IL, to Delbert John and Irene Marie (Johnson) Brodrecht. He was educated in the Galena Grade Schools and attended Galena High School. He was employed by various factories in Illinois and Iowa. John enjoyed watching movies and collecting model trains and cars.
Survivors include sisters, Dorie (Dale) Schnitzler of Mt. Carroll, IL, and Donna (Bruce) Wittbecker of Thomson, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; many great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dora in infancy; brother, George D. Brodrecht.
His Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton,IL.
There will be no Visitation.
The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
