Jeffrey Thomas Hill, 60, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Waco, TX, after a short battle with cancer.
He was born September 4, 1959, in Morrison, IL, and graduated from Morrison High School in 1977. He served in the U. S. Army from 1977 to 1984 and the U. S. Army Reserves from 1984 to 1990. Jeffrey served at Fort Hood, TX; Regensburg, Germany; Fort Gordon, GA; Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Upon his discharge he worked as a Fleet Diesel Mechanic in Saint Louis, MO. He moved to Texas in 2002 and did mechanic work as well as construction.
He is survived by his longtime partner Jeanette Rios of Waco; son, Thomas (Samantha) Hill of Columbia, MO; daughter, Leeann (Scott) Davis of Wood River, IL; sister, Patricia (Gene) Luepkes of Madison, GA; brother, James A. (Deana) Hill of Killeen; step-sisters, Kim Wollam-Straight and Kris (Randy) Murr of Morrison, IL; step-brother, Scott (Beth) Wollam of Fenton, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Wollam; father, James G. Hill; step-father, Ronald Wollam; sister-in-law, Karen Eads-Hill; nephew, Marvin Franks.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cancer Research Institute.
