Jeffrey Rolland, Sr., 64, of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at MercyOne Medical Center in Clinton, IA.
Jeff was born June 12, 1958, in East Chicago, IN, to Alexander and Marie (Holiat) Rolland. He was a graduate of Donald E. Gavit High School in Hammond, IN. He served in the United States Army in the 585th Brigade. Jeff married Joanne Krueger on September 15, 1978, in Morrison, IL. Jeff was first employed by Clinton Corn Processing Company in Clinton. He was later employed by Wahl Clipper Corporation in Sterling, IL, and was lastly employed from 2001 to the present as a Correctional Officer at the State of Illinois Correction Department in Dixon, IL, and Shawnee Correctional Center in Shawnee, IL. Jeff attended Gateway Faith Fellowship in Fulton. He was an avid gun enthusiast and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Jeff’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Dana M. Rolland of Fulton; son, Jeffrey (Melanie) Rolland, Jr. of Morrison; three grandchildren, Annistyn, Emmah, and Micah; sister, Sandy (Gale) Schroeder of Morrison; brother, Alexander (Nancy) Rolland of Cedar Lake, IN; special neighbors, Ron and Mary Pilgrim of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Alexander M. Rolland.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayne Wiersema, Pastor at Gateway Faith Fellowship in Fulton, IL, officiating.

A memorial Visitation will precede the service starting at 4:00 p.m., on Friday, May 12, 2023.
