01/01/14 at 9:21 p.m. Whiteside County Sheriff Deputies investigated a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 88 at the 37 mile marker. A vehicle driven by Shannon M.
Townsend, 29, of Davenport, IA, was westbound on I 88, when she lost control on the snow-covered roadway and a struck a guardrail. Townsend was taken to CGH by CGH ambulance for injuries. Assisted at scene were Rock Falls Fire, Sterling Fire Department, and CGH ambulance. Townsend was cited for DrivingToo Fast for Conditions and Expired Registration Sticker and released on a Notice to Appear.
01/01/14 at 7:21 p.m. Whiteside County Sheriff Deputies arrested Brick L. Boss, 28, of Rock Falls, IL, on a Whiteside County warrant. Boss posted bond and was released following a later court date.
12/27/13 at 9:52 p.m. Whiteside County Sheriff Deputies arrested Matthew R. Kollar-Hudson, 27, of Sterling, IL, for Speeding and Driving while License Suspended following a traffic stop on Route 40, approximately two miles south of Rock Falls, IL. Kollar-Hudson was released on a Notice to Appear.
12/29/13 at 8:34 p.m. Whiteside County Sheriff Deputies arrested Matthew D. Lawson, 24, of Tampico, IL, for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop on Route 40, approximately three miles south of Rock Falls, IL. Lawson was released on a Notice to Appear.
