Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, January 18, 2019.
Arrests: On Friday, January 18, 2019, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Matthew R. Gorzney, age 23 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Gorzney with Failure to Appear-Possession of Cannabis and an Arrest Warrant issued by Carroll County, charging Gorzney with a Probation Violation-Burglary. Gorzney was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Sunday, January 20, 2019, at approximately 6:20 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Eric A. Smith, age 39 of Sterling, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Smith with Failure to Appear-Resisting Peace Officer. Smith was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.
