January 12 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, January 12, 2018.

Arrests:  On Saturday, January 13, 2018, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Morrison Police responded to the area of W. Morris Street and Oak Street, Morrison, IL, regarding a suspicious male in the area.  As a result of the investigation, Jonathan D. Laughlin, age 44 of Deerfield, WI, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Violation of an Order of Protection.  Laughlin was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Saturday, January 13, 2018, at approximately 1:34 a.m., Morrison Police responded to 510 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, for a domestic dispute.  As a result of the investigation, Thomas A. Workman, age 30 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.  Workman was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morrison Police.
