At 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016, Morrison Chamber of Commerce paid a surprise visit to Resthave Home, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL. Chamber members happily honored Quality of Life Coordinator Jamie Troutman, with the December 2016 Because Nice Matters, Customer Service Award. Her colleagues kept her out of sight until the presenters arrived.
The anonymous nomination clearly indicated the caring Troutman exudes during her work with 20 Assisted Living residents. She tends to their social services and activities. The certificate was presented “in recognition of your passion, kindness, creativity, and friendliness. No matter how your day is going, you always have a smile for the residents of Resthave, and for this and many other reasons, they love you! Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed…not because nice is easy, but because nice matters!”
She worked at Resthave for a dozen years, before taking off six. Since her return, she has completed seven years.
