Illinois State Police Monthly Activity for November 2020

Illinois State Police District 1 Commander Captain Matthew Hodgdon has announced District 1 enforcement figures and activity for November 2020.

Illinois State Police District 1 Troopers issued 627 citations and 494 written warnings, and they made 19 criminal arrests during the month.  District 1, which encompasses Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties, investigated no fatal traffic crashes in November.

Speeding accounted for 339 citations; 79 citations were issued for Occupant Restraint violations; 65 citations were issued for Distracted Driving violations.

Troopers investigated 26 traffic crashes, assisted 126 motorists, and conducted 24 commercial vehicle inspections, three of which were placed out-of-service for safety reasons.

There were 11 arrests for Driving Under the Influence.
