The Illinois Department of Natural Resources Hunter Safety Course will take place over two days, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 31, from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. Trainees must attend both days to be certified. Completion of a Hunter Safety class is a requirement to obtain a Hunting License. A card verifyingtyhis will be issued and is good for a lifetime. There is no fee for the instruction.
There is no age limit for who can take this course. If you feel your child is ready, then he/she can take the class.
There will be no other Hunter Safety Course offered until September.
The location is Morrison Hunt Club, 21887 Pigeon Road, Morrison, IL.
