HRRV will break ground for the 14,000 square foot hospice home at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 26, 2016. The site location is N. After conducting an assessment on end-of-life care in our area, HRRV identified a need for alternative options in our community.  Richard Prescott shared Hospice of the Rock River Valley’s vision of growing a tradition of compassionate hospice care.  He generously donated the land to build the new hospice home.

The opeing is scheduled for Spring 2017.  Community-wide support is still needed for the project.  Contributions can be made online at www.hospicerockriver.org, in person, or by mailing your check payable to “Hospice Home Fund” to Hospice of the Rock River Valley, 2600 N. Locust Street, Sterling, IL 61081.

A new, simple, and secure way to donate is to use our Text to Donate option using your smartphone.  Simply text HOSPICE to 91999 to make a secure donation using your debit or credit card.  There are naming rights available for larger contributions.
