Honorary Captain Jeg Weets Leads Team

There was a new Mustang Varsity Football Captain during the game against Spring Valley High School, at home on Friday, August 31, 2018.   “Here come your 2018 Morrison Mustangs led by honorary Captain Jeg Weets,” stated the Facebook video post.  His parents are Brad and Jenna Weets of Morrison, IL.  Jeg is shown leading his father and the Mustangs.

On Saturday, March 17, Jeg became an Honorary Morrison and Albany Police Officer, compete with badges, a ride-around parade complete with an escort by Morrison Fire Department engine, and private tour of town with Chief Brian Melton in a Morrison Police squad car.  He also received official insignia from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
