Enjoy breakfast or lunch with your friends on Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris Street, Morrison, IL, and support the mission trip of local citizens.
- Breakfast choices are homemade biscuits and gravy, scrambled egg burritos, and homemade cinnamon rolls.
- Lunch features homemade chili, deli sliced sandwiches, and homemade cookies.
Saturday is designed to raise funds for a Mission Team trip to Honduras next year, through World Gospel Outreach. Nineteen members from Dixon, IL, will join the following Morrison participants: Bill Damhoff, Tammy Johnson, Marty Koster, Patti Nice, Jamie Rodriguez, and Laura Vandermyde.
Each day offers them a different task. One day might involve pouring a concrete floor. Some will work with the children’s ministry; others might work with one of the adult evangelism stations. The medical team will offer dental, pharmacy, or ocular care to the Hondurans.
“People will walk up to two hours” to reach our “brigade,” stated Vandermyde.
