Farrell continued, “Make sure to mark your calendars for the annual Home for the Holidays Bazaar hosted by Morrison United Methodist Church[, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL,] on Saturday, November 15, 2014.  You won’t want to miss this year’s bazaar.  Crafters from the past and many more unique crafters will be on hand, offering their talents and wares.  Something is sure to catch your eye, to purchase for yourself or as a wonderful gift during the holiday season.”

The Theme Basket Silent Auction returns.  Many of the church members volunteered to put together a basket.  Their gifts and talents will bring new and delightful ideas for your holiday gifting.  Some might be a perfect way to “pamper yourself” during the hustle and bustle of the season.  The silent auction will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  However, you need not be present should you have the winning bid.  Stay for lunch at the Bazaar and have a chance to take your basket home with you.

For those who have attended the bazaar in previous years, you already know how popular the church ladies’ famous pies, jams, cookies, and candy are.  They have been busy preparing several different pie favorites and lots of various fruit jams.  Delicious cookies and candies will be plentiful and irresistible.  While you plan for your holiday festivities, you will find these to be a wonderful, delicious addition to your menus and a hit for all your guests.

Morrison United Methodist Church is where you will want to be on Saturday, November 15, as the church ladies welcome you to their annual Home for the Holidays Bazaar.  If you would like to participate in any part of the bazaar, contact Charla Olson at 815-622-1956.
