On Saturday, November 10, 2012, Morrison United Methodist Church invites the community to once again celebrate the splendor of November and December, during their seventh annual Home for the Holidays event. The Heritage Hall, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, offers three pleasant opportunities to enjoy with family or friends.
· Breakfast will be served from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.—biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, orange juice, and coffee
· Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.–pulled-pork sandwich, choice of chili or Cheeseburger in Paradise soup, apple crisp
· Local crafters will sell items from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A few items include jewelry; wooden décor; florals; hand embroidery; sewn items such as bibs and purses. Luscious pies will sell for $10. Pecan and pumpkin pies are ready to eat. Apple, cherry, and peach can be baked at home. Take home several to freeze for your upcoming celebrations.
You will gather seasonal, holiday, or decorating inspiration as you visit five local destinations during the Home for the Holidays Tour, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The price of $10 ensures admission to the following:

· Dave and Linda Vanderlaan’s cabin, 17792 Holly Road
· John and Kathe Vegter’s home, 13264 Deer Trace Drive
· house at 210 Elm Street, owned by Gary and Beth Milnes, will feature Christmas decor and many nativity scenes..
