Luke Long Ears & the Rune of King Arthur is hot off the presses. Morrison, IL, author Josh Hollister debuted the second book in The Luke Long Ears series, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the Afternoon Adventures program at Clinton Public Library. He read from the book and answered questions from the audience. As with his first book premier, Basset Hounds were on hand to pet.
“This novel has twice the pages, adventure, humor, and history,” Hollister reported. Luke Long Ears & the Eyes of Aten,” debuted in September 2015.
He uses his Bassett Hound, Max, shown at left, as a model for the main character, Luke “Long Ears” O’Connell, in the historical fiction adventure books. Hollister draws readers into the past–through the dreamy journeys of Max.
