“Holiday Wreath Making” by Margo Hansen will be the topic for Wild Winter Wednesday at the Windmill Cultural Center 111 Tenth Avenue, Fulton, IL, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The building is handicap accessible, and the program is without charge. Refreshments are served at 9:00. The program begins at 9:20.
Hansen will demonstrate how to make an attractive wreath. Attendees will be entered in a raffle to take home the decorative item.
She will be interviewed on Paula Sands Live, KWQC Channel 6, at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, announciing the Wild Winter Wednesday presentation on the 9th.
Margo Hansen received a Bachelors degree in Horticulture from Iowa State University. She owned and operated Gateway Garden Center in Clinton, IA, for 16 years. Hansen has been in retail garden purchasing and sales for over 30 years. She currently serves as Director of Programs at the Bickelhaupt Arboretum, where she coordinates volunteers, schedules educational sessions, and presents programs.
She has also hosted a call-in garden show called the “Great Green Garden Show” on KROS radio.
