carving trencherThe Annual Fall Festival at Heritage Canyon, 515 N. Fourth Street, Fulton, IL, is set for Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6, 2013, from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Join the Early American Crafters for our Fall Festival and experience life in a pioneer village.  Watch demonstrations and meet our artists, crafters, and villagers.

Visit a Native American lodge and learn about their crafts, games, and traditions.

On Saturday, watch Morrisonian Kenneth Venhuizen create ice cream with his traveling “hit-and-miss” engine outside the General Store.  Step inside to purchase a bowl of vanilla goodness!

Also on Saturday, plan to have your family picture taken by the Rosebud Mission Team.

Listen to the String-A-Longs Dulcimer group in the church, and stay for a dulcimer workshop at 2:00 p.m.

There will be activities for adults and children.  Wander through the Canyon, see our homes, school, church, covered bridge, blacksmith shop, and more.

Be sure to stop at the Town Hall, overlooking the Mississippi River, for our artists and bake sale.  Enjoy lunch and ice cream treats in the General Store, at the bottom of the canyon.

Come spend a day in the past. The cost is only $2 for adults and $1 for children.
