Heritage Canyon, 515 N. 4th Street, Fulton, IL, comes to life on Saturday, October 2, and Sunday, October 3, 2021.  Visit 11 buildings reminiscent of the late-1800s, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Park downtown at Fulton Corp., and ride the free shuttle to the Canyon entrance.  Kindly wear your mask to enter buildings.

Early American Crafters–Heritage Canyon historical interpreters–include three blacksmiths, a storytellers, cooks in the cabin and 1860s summer kitchen, doctor, fur trapper, and teacher.

Enjoy popcorn, ice cream, hot cider, and water.  Hike the trails, and cross covered and swinging bridges.  Cross 4th Street to view the Mississippi River bank.

Andresen Nature Center, 409 N. 4th Street, next to Heritage Canyon, celebrates Fall Festival both days 10:00 to 3:00.  Natural Area Guardians will discuss prairies and how to start one.  Limited quantities of seeds are available.  Fulton High School Robotics Club will launch water bottles.
