Please join the Early American Crafters on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Heritage Canyon, 515 N. 4th Street, Fulton, IL, for two seasonal events on one day! Create a Christmas memory at our site beside the Mississippi River.
From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. eleven historic or reproduction village buildings open their doors to visitors at our annual Christmas Walk. Step into the past as you meander inside a former limestone quarry, where interpreters perform life skills of the 19th century.
Listen to music and a Christmas story in the village church. Hear carolers throughout the Canyon.
Be sure to stop at the Town Hall for complimentary cookies and warm drinks and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Santa.
At the General Store shop for that special gift–our annual tree ornament–a cookbook, toys, or a souvenir sweatshirt.
From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. the scene changes during our Illuminated Walk. Enjoy the Canyon by candle and lantern light, beautifully decorated for Christmas.
You may with to bring a flashlight to guide your path.
Park by the windmill in Fulton and take the free shuttle to the Canyon. The shuttle runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the last shuttle leaving the Canyon at 8:00.
