Saturday, November 26, 2016, was the annual clean-up day at Heritage Canyon, 515 N. 4th Street, Fulton, IL, with preparation and decoration for the upcoming Christmas walk. The canyon invites visitors to enter the buildings and enjoy refreshments, on Saturday, December 3, from noon to 7:00 p.m. Canyon-by-candlelight is a special experience.
All levels of Fulton Girl Scout troops, from Daisys to Seniors, did a fantastic job cleaning, and hanging greens with touches of red, flocked bows. Fulton Boy Scout Troop #117 cut firewood; trimmed trees; raked, raked, and raked leaves. They have provided this service to the Canyon for over a decade. This year’s crew paused for a photo before heading home.
Complimentary hot drinks (cider, tea, cocoa, and coffee) and cookies will be served in the Town Hall.
The Fulton Police want visitors to use the downtown shuttle bus provided.
