Keeping your brain fit is important at any age. Current research indicates that challenging the brain is one of several things you can do, to contribute to your own brain health as you age. Challenging activities are one way to train your brain and keep your wits fit!
Join Extension Educator Karla Belzer as she leads participants through interactive activities. These are designed to exercise the brain to maintain and enhance cognitive function and memory. The University of Illinois Extension offers monthly Wits Fitness Brain Exercises classes in Sterling, and Dixon, IL.
Each monthly class is free and open to the public. Face masks are required for participation, and social distancing protocols will be followed. Registration is not required, but appreciated. Participants are welcome to join the class at any time.
The monthly class in Sterling will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., at the Whiteside County Extension office, 12923 Lawrence Road, Sterling. Class dates are March 25, April 22, May 27, June 24, July 15, Auust 26, September 23, October 28, and November 10.

The monthly class in Dixon will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., at the KSB Town Square Centre, 101 W. Second Street, Dixon, on the third floor. Class dates are March 8, April 12, May 10, June 21, July 12, August 9, September 20, October 12, November 8, and December 13.
