The Early American Crafters would like to inform people that Heritage Canyon will be open for the Fall Festival, on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., as planned.
Because of the flooding on Friday, July 21, the park has been closed. However, the park will be open for the upcoming festival.
The City of Fulton has been busy removing all the silt that had washed into the lower part of the canyon. The canyon’s maintenance man has cleaned out buildings that were hardest hit by the flooding.
With the cleaning so far from being finished, the Early American Crafters are once again reaching out to the public for help.
Whether it’s time volunteered or monetary help, the survival of Heritage Canyon relies on the communities it serves.
For more information, contact Carol Fritz at 563-249-3728 or Liz Rice-Keller at 563-212-5741.
The Early American Crafters thank those who have already made a contribution. We want those kind people to know it’s being put to good use.
