Harvey A. Anderson, 73 of Morrison, IL, died Friday January 3, 2014, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
He was born on February 24, 1940, in Morrison, the son of Earl and Dorothy (Pruis) Anderson. He married Ada A. DeGroff on August 9, 1963, in Morrison. Harvey had worked at the former National Manufacturing in Sterling for 33 years, retiring in 2000 from the plating department. He was a past member of the Early Riser CB Club using the handle “Wall Banger.” He was also a past member of area snowmobile clubs.
Surviving is his wife, Ada; his daughter, Laurie Weaver of Morrison; his brother, Danny (MaryAnn) Anderson of Eldridge, IA; three grandsons: Brian Anderson, Robert Anderson, and Nicholas Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls, IL.
