Academic Drive access notice for Harvest Hammer parking:
As in the past, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, you will be able to park at the South Side School playground and on Academic Drive. However, due to road construction on IL Route 78, Hammer participants will have Limited Access to Academic Drive.
Please follow these directions.
When coming to Morrison from the South on IL Route 78, drive straight ahead past “Mustang Corner Convenience Store/Gas Station” and then “Morrison Institute of Technology” to Academic Drive on your left. Turn left (west) onto Academic Drive.
For in-town participants or those coming to Morrison from U. S. Highway 30 East or West, turn south onto Genesee Street. Proceed to Winfield Street and turn left. Drive to the end of Winfield, and turn right (south) onto IL Route 78. Proceed one block to Academic Drive; turn right (west.)
Please drive carefully. Watch for trucks or construction vehicles that may be in the area. Thank you for your patience during our progress in Morrison!
