Harold D. Rogers, Jr., 65, of Lyndon, IL, died Monday, July 7, 2014.
Born June 2, 1949, in Kewanee, IL, he was a son of Harold Dean, Sr. and Joan L. (Neilsen) Rodgers. He married Mary Ellen Hunt on January 29, 1971, in Lyndon. He was a material handler at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon, IL, for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and showing his Coon Hounds.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Mary Ellen, of Lyndon; his sons, Darrin (Jennifer) Rogers of Morrison, IL, Collin Rogers of Prophetstown, IL, and Brandon Rogers of Hooppole, IL; his grandchildren, Kayla, Drew, Parker, and Aliza Rogers; brother Dennis (Peggy) Rogers of Kewanee, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private graveside services will be held at Fairfield-Greenfield Cemetery in New Bedford, IL.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
