Harold “Bud” Tomman, Jr., age 87, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Big Meadows Nursing Home in Savanna, IL.
Harold was born on August 31, 1933, in Mount Carroll, IL, the son of Harold and Arlene (Atherton) Tomman, Sr. He married Barbara Stage on October 31, 1953. Harold was employed as a Forklift Driver for 32 years with International Harvester East Moline Works. He loved collecting old cars and spending time with his children.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Morrison,IL; daughters, Julie Burken (Steve Taplin) of Bettendorf, IA, Jodi (Wes) Dauen of Albany, IL, and Theresa Lawson of Mississippi; sons, Rick (Cindy) Tomman and Steve Tomman both of Albany; sisters, Beverly Shephard of Fulton, IL, Judy Westphal of Columbus, IN, and Connie (Lee) Winch of Maquoketa, IA; brothers, Bob Tomman of Polo, IL, and Ronald “Skip” (Arla) Tomman of Fulton; several grand- and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A Celebration of Life was held at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton, IL.
