Seventy-five people and their dogs turned out for the first Happy Tails “Run for the Paws” 2K run/walk. It was a great event with lots of happy faces–human and canine. The run brought $1,350 to Happy Tails.
Run for the Paws was part of Sterling Main Street’s Dog Days event.
Happy Tails Humane Society is Whiteside County’s only animal shelter. We are a limited-intake, no-kill, facility, that shelters and cares for stray and abandoned animals until they are adopted into loving, permanent homes. We promote pet adoption and humane education.
