Gregory A. Wolf, 64, of Rock Falls, IL, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at his home.
Greg was born August 3, 1956, in Sterling, IL, the son of James and Ruth (Wescott) Wolf. He was a 1974 graduate of Sterling High School and was employed at several places over the years, including Britt Airways, RJ Reynolds, Tru-Green, and Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Greg was a referee and umpire for over 40 years and enjoyed playing slow pitch softball. He also coached Sterling Jr. Tackle Football for almost 20 years. He was an avid sports fan and a die-hard White Sox fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Gary Wesemann) Wolf of Morrison, IL; mother, Ruth Wolf of Sterling; sister, Kathy Wolf of Rock Falls; brothers, Steve Wolf of Mendota, IL, and Raymond Wolf of Sterling; two grandchildren, Zachary and Jason Hall of Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation, for a maximum of 50 people at a time, will be Saturday, March 13, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
A private funeral will follow.
