Clinton Community College is pleased to announce an upcoming performance for the 2018-19 Visiting Artist season. This is the 45th year that CCC has offered performances for the community, as part of the Quad Cities Arts, a program that strives to make artists accessible to people of all walks of life, including students, Seniors, and working people.
2015 Grammy winner Jason Vieaux will perform on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., in the CCC Technology Center, 1951 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton, IA. He is “among the elite of today’s classical guitarists” according to Gramophone. National Public Radio describes Vieaux as, “perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation.” His most recent solo album, “Play,” won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo.
