Grace M. Hepner, 85, of Pleasant View Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Morrison, IL, died Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Center.
Grace was born September 19, 1928, in Moline, IL, to Carl A. and Helen (Sievers) Kraklow. She was educated in the Taylor Ridge grade schools and was a graduate of Taylor Ridge High School in Taylor Ridge, IL. Grace married Frank G. Hepner on June 4, 1948, in Coal Vally, IL. He died August 10, 1997. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison and was a member of Overeaters Anonymous. Grace enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include three daughters, Louise Fuller of Chattanooga, TN; Beth (Chuck) Dewyre of Vadnais Heights, MN; Irene (Bill) Kolb of Albuquerque, NM; one son, Carl (Cheryl) Hepner of Rock Falls, IL; one son-in-law, Dennis Frank; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marge (Alan) Baker of Eldridge, IA, and Darlene Schmidt of San Marcos, TX; three brothers, Dan (Melanie) Kraklow of Muscatine, IA; Duane (Betty) Kraklow of Taylor Ridge; Allen (Barb) Kraklow of Toulon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; one daughter, Anne Marie Frank; one grandson, Phillip Hepner; two brothers, Carl Kraklow and Dave Kraklow.
