Grace was born in Sabula, IA. She married Bill Green of Morrison in 1956. They farmed for many years in Whiteside and Carroll Counties.
Grace and Bill have three children: Janet Green of Morrison, Tom (Karla) Green of Morrison, and Michael Green (deceased.)
They have four grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Dan Hernandez), Sarah (Neal) Mahoney, Jacob Green, and Elizabeth Green, and three great-grandchildren, Ayden, Aly, and Annabelle Mahoney.
