Gordon R. Denning, 60, died Friday, April 25, 2014, after an extended illness.
He was born June 22, 1953, in Sterling, IL, the son of Wilbur and Lela (Burger) Denning. He was employed as a roofer for a period of time.
Surviving are his daughters, Sanya Denning (Nick Willems) of Nekoosa, WI, and Holly Denning of Morrison, IL; sons, Leslie (Tawnya) Denning of Sterling, IL, and Gordon (Krista) Denning, Jr. of Rock Falls, IL; sister, Nancy Wagner of Rock Falls; brothers, Steve Denning of Sterling and Richard (Cheryl) Denning, Wilbur Denning, and Jack (Leslie) Denning, all of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren; special friend, Janis Locke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Don, Wayne, and Charles Denning.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no services.
