Morrison Ministers Council arranges the annual Community Cross Walk.

On Good Friday, April 7, 2023, the annual ecumenical Community Cross Walk begins at Resthave Rehabilitation & Health Care, 408 Maple Avenue, at 12:15 p.m.  Community participants should arrive before that time.  New this year, at 11:50 a.m. a bus will depart from Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care, 500 N. Jackson Street, to transport those unable to walk the half mile downhill to Resthave.  The bus will return them to Pleasant View after the first Good Friday service concludes.

Inside Resthave on the Nursing side, Bethesda Lutheran Pastor Tammy Anderson will give a brief Easter message.  Brethren in Christ Pastor Craig and Kathi Sipes will lead the group in hymn singing.  The bus will transport those unable to walk the half mile uphill.  Walkers progress north on Jackson Street to Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care, 500 N. Jackson Street, where Ebenezer Reformed Pastor J. T. Bean will speak in the Cafeteria.  The public is invited to attend either or both short services at these residential care facilities; walk with others; carry the cross for awhile; contemplate the procession.
